Serve cool between 12° and 14°C. Expressive as early as its second year, can be enjoyed young and fruity. But the Bergeron is perfect after several years (3 to 10) with its smoother woody flavours and tertiary aromas.

| Caractère |
 |
| The Chignin Bergeron, expressive, complex and well-structured, belongs to the great wines. Its nose with touches of apricot or something more exotic depending on the area, can evolve towards honey,or candied fruit. Powerful and long in the mouth, it will reach its best balance after several years. |

| During harvesting, the best grapes are selected for this wine Saint Anthelme kept in barrels for several months. Through our moderate methods we try each year to bring out the most complex aromas and give our wine more delicacy, length and complexity in the mouth. Our constant concern is too avoid overly woody aspects. |

| ACCOMPAGNEMENT |
 |
With grilled toasts, it will be an excellent aperitif. For the rest of the meal: - Fish in sauce or smoked (trout, salmon, lake fish, ...) - White meats (poultry, rabbit, veal, ...) - Goat's cheese or ewe's cheese (chevrotin, Roquefort) - Other cheeses such as Comté or Beaufort.

This early ripening grape can be recognised by its long bunches of golden fruit. Subject to disease, it requires a lot of care up to harvesting time. In the winery, the skills of the winemaker are vital in the making of this great wine.
